Hunterdon Orthopedic Web Design
Objectives
The client requested a feature that would enable users to quickly find information about their specific orthopedic issue. They also wanted to incorporate video in the site.
Outcomes
This web design demanded collaboration between the graphic designer and web developer to create the interactive “Where does it hurt” page. This design presents a great visual for users by employing call out boxes that highlight different parts of the body that may be in pain. When a site visitor scrolls across a body part, live text appears. When the user clicks on the body part, he or she is directed to a page with general information about common injuries, diseases, and treatments related to that area.
Our developers organized video on the site according to physician, making it easy for the user to find out everything he or she needs to know about a particular doctor or procedure one one page. Each physician has a “get to know” video, as well as a series of patient testimonials, and each doctor’s physician assistant is listed at the bottom of his or her page. The slideshow on the home page also highlights the video gallery and the “Where does it hurt” page so users have several ways to access key information.
